Project One Cumming is the result of merging two highly respected and successful professional services firms. Nearly 20 years ago, Project One co-founders Mike Palumbo and Tristin Gleason created Project One to support owners lacking the time, resources, or in-house expertise necessary to provide the high level of attention required to manage capital construction projects. Similarly, Cumming founder and CEO Finlay Cumming had a vision to improve upon the value offered by construction industry consultants. In 1996, Finlay established Cumming to offer more robust and effective project management and cost consulting support to owners, developers, and designers, ultimately leading to more successful project outcomes.
Project One’s commitment to excellence, and its long track record of adding value to each project, has contributed to the company’s strong reputation, which has been reflected in steady growth, high rates of repeat business, and, in 2018, the merger with Cumming, a project and cost management provider with whom Project One had already teamed with and achieved success. Cumming saw a like-minded organization in Project One, which had earned a stellar reputation for service and quality. In Cumming, Project One saw a company with shared values and deep resources. Together, Project One and Cumming are able to leverage our stronger depth of services and resources to further realize our long-held vision of being the premier firm for owners looking for guidance and support.
