Project Description
Plum Creek Water Purification Facility, Phase I & 2, Castle Rock, CO
Project Description
The Town of Castle Rock’s new Plum Creek water purification facility is located in central Castle Rock, north of Wolfsenberger Road between Liggett Road and Prairie Hawk Boulevard. The source of supply comes from several alluvial well fields located within the Town and distributed along the Plum Creek corridor. The project is comprised of several elements, including the installation of a water purification facility, alluvial well fields along East Plum Creek, and raw water transmission piping. The water purification facility is designed to deliver a maximum daily production capacity of three to four million gallons per day (MGD) in the short-term and will be expandable to 12 MGD in the future. Project One Cumming is providing project management services now, on Phase 2 of the project, which includes expansion of treatment capacity to 6 MGD, with future expansion opportunities up to 12 MGD.
